The prime vehicle is a cool 6-Wheeled Land Rover Defender, Foley's made, which needs a lot of caring attention. Some times we use other transport, however - with fuel prices up and shortages to come maybe we switch entirely, - some day.

The idea, adventure, project had been growing in my head for years. This feeling inside, the desire to leave and live a different life, it made it too easy to give up a job, give all other stuff away and hit the road. 22nd of June 2004.

In May 2005 I meet Hasna, Moroccan, she comes along! We are married, have two twin boys, Daniel and David. This Fab Trek continues. Photography and Journey, Story of Life Around the World.

I love Music, Art, Festivals and photography there off.

The year 2007.

A trip from Vienna again back down south (BDS) - the long way, the South of Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Mauritania, Mali.

On my own to Guinea, for 2 month.

Back to Mali, Bamako, then up to Mopti for Christmas. The year ends in Ouagadouga, Burkina Faso.

  • 2007 06 26 - Palermo, finally Sicily, Mount Etna, Siracusa, Enna, Trapani to Palermo. We loved it.
  • 2007 06 12 - Reggio di Calabria - The South, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria. Lecce and Trulli Country.
  • 2007 05 20 - Camigliatello. Further south from Firenze, Perugia, Gubbio and Orvieto, Roma and Napoli, and Paestum.
  • 2007 05 07 - We reach Firenze, after Cortina, Parma, Verona, Bologna, Pisa and a lot more. First journey with the twins.

Back in Vienna after Guinea for the birth of our twin boys.
