Manfred in the desert of the Western Sahara

The mind, when pondering at night has always asked those questions. What are you doing in corporate wonderland, banking, university, office, church. Who is the other animal asleep inside, thinker, punk, creative, cowboy, vagabond, anarchist, healer, artist, writer, photographer, intellectual? Oh God dare you to think.

So when he sees the gamble, manipulations and lies he follows the old old dream, sets out for this journey that is called life, explore the world traveling overland.

Manfred is father of twin boys, Daniel and David.

Travelling land inwards from the Atlantik coast. We were looking for a passage to a piste further south that we had envisioned taking. But fields of high dunes everywhere and our piste constantly 20km away. We had the choice to drive back some 100km or bite the bullet and risk crossing the dunes.

We have done some 20km of dune-crossing that way. The first 2km took us some 3 hours.
